Dinesh Moorjani
Dinesh is a Managing Director and founding member of THA with over 22 years of experience working with technology companies as a Wall Street equity analyst and investment banker.
Before founding THA, Dinesh was a Principal at Ridgecrest Capital Partners, where he was a top-performing member of the team and executed scores of transactions over a period of 5+ years in a variety of areas, including digital media, IoT, big data, network infrastructure, mobile applications, carrier software, mobile payments, and enterprise software, among other areas of the technology industry. . Dinesh is known by colleagues and clients for his strong attention to detail, perseverance, and thoughtfulness in the execution of transactions. Prior to Ridgecrest, Dinesh worked as a sell-side equity analyst covering publicly-listed technology companies, and has conducted fundamental research in the IT hardware, semiconductor, mobile, and Internet sectors. Most recently, he worked at Gleacher & Company (formerly known as Broadpoint Securities and First Albany), which he joined through Broadpoint’s acquisition of investment research firm American Technology Research. Prior to AmTech, Dinesh worked at Bear Stearns where he was a member of the firm’s San Francisco-based global semiconductor research team, which was ranked runner-up in the Institutional Investor All-America Research Team survey. Prior to that, Dinesh was based out of Bear Stearns’ Hong Kong office, where he spent three years following Asian tech companies in Taiwan, Korea and Singapore.
Dinesh is from Hong Kong and graduated from the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology with a BBA in Finance, and received his MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. He has also studied at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and has completed the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) program.
