Mark is a Managing Director of Telegraph Hill Advisors with more than 30 years of experience as an Investment Banker, Start-up Entrepreneur and Senior Executive at major Enterprise & Consumer Technology companies.
Before joining Telegraph Hill Advisors, Mark was a Managing Director at Palmarés Advisors, a tech-focused boutique investment bank based in the Bay Area. Prior to banking, Mark was Co-Founder and CEO of Speak Music Inc., a NLP – AI company that helped Amazon and Spotify deliver voice powered music and Alexa to cars. He was also CEO of HipLogic, a Benchmark Capital funded Mobile Social Media platform that he sold to Zynga. Post acquisition, Mark joined Zynga as a senior executive driving 10x growth of its mobile advertising revenues and part of their M&A evaluation team. Prior to his start-up experience, Mark was VP of Enterprise Business Solutions at Ericsson, where he led strategic consulting engagements with C-Level executives from Apple, Google, Yahoo, YouTube, and AT&T in the early days of smart mobile devices. Mark’s earlier career was in Enterprise Sales and Corporate Development at Polycom, SnapOne, and Vialto/Cisco. He continues to remain active in the tech startup realm, serving as a mentor for Stanford University’s StartX Accelerator. Mark has completed Duke University’s Executive Business Management program and holds an International Business degree from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management, along with a BA in Advertising/Finance from SJSU. Mark is also Chairman of the Board for the Convoy of Hope Foundation and enjoys playing Disc Golf, Pickleball, and Golf.
